At GS Music Lessons, our Drum Program is designed to ignite rhythm, creativity, and confidence in every student—whether you’re picking up sticks for the first time or looking to sharpen your technique as an intermediate player. Our mission is to make drumming fun, accessible, and empowering.
Students learn much more than just beats. They discover how to keep time, explore different musical styles (rock, jazz, funk, Latin, pop, worship, and more), and express themselves through dynamic rhythm and performance. From learning to hold the sticks properly to building speed, control, and groove—every lesson is hands-on, engaging, and tailored to your pace.
Led by our experienced instructor Gustavo Soares, who brings over 20 years of passion, patience, and stage experience, students benefit from real-world insight and musical mentorship. Gustavo performs live, teaches in schools, and plays in the Noosa Church band—bringing that authentic gig energy straight into every lesson.

Proper stick grip and hand technique
